Which data

This is the data I transfer

You decide which areas get transferred (all three or just some) and, for each area, which system is the data source. James then moves the data from there into the second system. With HiBob, time tracking is fixed: HiBob does not accept attendance through the API, so James cannot write it into HiBob.

Benefits

Why HiBob + James?

Maintain master data only once

Your employee data lives in HiBob, and I bring it automatically into your scheduling tool. No double data entry, no outdated records.

Time and absences back to HiBob

Recorded times and absences flow automatically into HiBob, processed cleanly and on time.

Ready-made integration, no IT project

You don't need to program an interface. I use the official HiBob API: you only configure data types and direction.

Good to know: Time tracking cannot be created in HiBob through the API. James therefore does not write attendance into HiBob.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What does James do with HiBob?

James transfers employee data, time tracking and absences automatically between HiBob and a scheduling or time tracking tool like Papershift or Aplano, via the official HiBob API.

In which direction does James sync with HiBob?

You decide which areas get transferred and, for each area, which system is the data source. James then moves the data from there into the second system. With HiBob, time tracking is fixed: HiBob does not accept attendance through the API, so James cannot write it into HiBob.

Is the transfer with HiBob GDPR-compliant?

Yes. The transfer runs over the official, secured HiBob API, and both the hosting on German servers and the processing are GDPR-compliant.

Does my IT team have to build a HiBob interface themselves?

No. James uses the official HiBob API, so the integration is done. You only configure which data types are transferred in which direction.
