Connects Personio, Papershift, Aplano, HiBob & HRworks

Retyping is history. Now the HR interface takes over

Hi, I'm James, the HR interface that connects two software systems: your HR software and your time tracking or scheduling tool. Using the official APIs of both systems, I sync employee data, time tracking, and absences, for example between Papershift, Personio, Aplano, HiBob, or HRworks. You decide which data types I transfer and which direction they run. I handle the rest, with no manual retyping and no double entry.

GDPR-compliant, hosted on servers in Germany, over the official APIs of your systems. You don't have to build your own interface.

Your day today

  • Retyping data by hand from one system into the next
  • Export here, import there, all over again every month
  • Typos that get expensive in payroll
  • Maintaining the same data twice
Sound familiar?

Copy, paste, repeat.
Every. Single. Month.

The same busywork every month: transferring employee data, hours, and absences by hand from one system to the other. It eats up hours, slips typos into payroll, and keeps you from the work that really matters. And the more people you look after, the bigger the effort gets.

That's where I come in: as your HR interface, I sync your data automatically in the background, over the official APIs of both systems. You'll never retype anything again and never maintain the same data twice.

Benefits at a glance

What does James, as your HR interface, do for you?

James builds the data bridge between your two systems, automatically, securely, and exactly the way you set it up. Here's what you get:

No more retyping

James transfers employee data, time tracking, and absences automatically between your systems. No export, no import, no copy-paste. Your team can finally focus on what matters more.

Fewer errors, clean data

What runs automatically doesn't make typos. That keeps your data consistent across both systems and clearly lowers the risk of costly mistakes, especially in payroll, where accuracy matters most.

GDPR-compliant, servers in Germany

Your personnel data deserves protection. James works GDPR-compliant, hosts on servers in Germany, and transfers data exclusively over the official, secured APIs of the systems involved.

You decide what and where

You define which data types I transfer, feel free to pick just time tracking, and which direction each of them runs. Each data type runs in exactly one direction, so it fits your setup.

How it works

03

We switch it on, it runs automatically

Just let us know when you're done. We check the configuration and activate the interface. From then on, I sync your data automatically in the background.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What does James do?

James transfers your employee data, time tracking, and absences automatically via API between two systems, for example between Papershift, Personio, Aplano, HiBob, and HRworks. No manual retyping, no export-import.

Which HR and time tracking systems does James connect?

Currently Papershift, Personio, Aplano, HiBob, and HRworks. Your system isn't listed? Let me know, I'll look into your requested integration for you.

What does James sync, and in which direction?

First you choose which data types I transfer at all. That can be all three, employee data, time tracking, and absences, or just a single one, for example only time tracking. For each data type you select, you then set the direction the data flows. Each data type runs in exactly one direction, and the directions can differ per data type.

Is the transfer GDPR-compliant?

Yes. James works GDPR-compliant, hosts on servers in Germany, and transfers data exclusively over the providers' official, secured APIs. Your personnel data stays protected.

Do I have to write code myself for the HR interface?

No. James uses the official APIs of the systems. The integration is ready to go. You only configure which data types are transferred in which direction. No custom development needed.

How much work is it to set up James?

The setup is real work, but no coding. You make the necessary one-time settings in both systems, ananas.codes checks the configuration and activates the interface. After that, the sync runs automatically in the background. And you are not on your own: we are happy to help you personally or with our setup assistant that walks you through the configuration step by step.

What does an integration with James cost?

You request a no-obligation quote. Name the two systems you want to connect and your number of employees. ananas.codes will then get back to you with a price and all the details.

Does James support a Datev integration?

A Datev integration is planned, but not yet available. It's on our roadmap, mid-2027 at the earliest.

Ready to hand off the retyping?

Request a no-obligation quote or book a consultation. Just tell us which two systems you want to connect, and we'll get back to you with a price and all the details.
